The Painting Away was insprired by stories of alien abduction. The eye shown to the top left is the woman being taken away. The womans eyes are green, the same as the alien hand shown at the bottom left of the painting. There are fishing bobbers to symbolize the fishing of humans.

The message is to remind us that we are just small beings in a vast universe.

The painting Back to Basics was inspired by the style of drawing that the artist did as a child using black ink on white paper. The gold background with black free-hand images brings out a tribal feel to the work. There are many hidden images in the painting notably a politician at a podium that doubles as a female nude in abstract.

The message is to move forward with your creativity, but never forgetr the basics.

                                                            Judge Not My Brother

The painting Judge Not My Brother was inspired by the execution of Mr. Stan (Tookie) Williams in 2005. Mr. Williams was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. The eye shown to the top right is society partially blindfolded. The eye to the bottom left shows society with a blocked view and a sick color in appearance. The figure is a man being put to death by lethal injection. Jesus is shown to the right side middle watching over the condemned man. The words Made In USA are on the death bed to show that we are manufacturing more prisons in this country than opportunities.

The message is find a way to be productive no mater what the future holds.

The painting Cry Your Eyes Out was inspired by a lost love. The subject depicted is a woman that is so sad that she has cried a river of tears (note all of the colors are contained in black, however her tears are not contained.) The doors depict three decisions two are bad, one is good. The heart is pierced to show the pain of a lost love.

The message is to follow your heart because you never know when your loved one will be no more.

The painting Color My Soul was inspired by the many eyes of the world. The eye is a symbol for society and is shown as one multi-colored eye. Near the bottom of the painting depicts the lake of souls where we replenish our spirit.

The message is that we are all part of one race and that is the human race and we all have a soul.

The painting for Far From Home was inspired by a trip to St. Pete Beach, Fl where I was able to visit some friends, and when returning to St. Louis, Mo I felt like the beach was home thus the title far from home is about returning to a place that does not feel like home. The image is an astronaut looking out to see the earth to show the ultimate separation from home. The eye is society looking at the man. The green color in this painting was inspired by a friend.

The message is that you may have lived in an area your whole life and never once felt like you were home.

The painting Faster Than Death was inspired by the hurricanes in the New Orleans are and the failure to save the poor. The subject shown is an older man trying to leave the destruction behind (shown as fire) driving a car, but he is already dead. Look at the bottom left of the image and you will see the reflection of Death in the side view mirror. The mans eyes are green as the dollar and the pupils are gold to show that greed and money is what he saw before he died.

The message is not to forget that we are all people sharing this land, this country, this earth, and when you have a chance to help your fellow man you should now check their bank accounts first.

The painting Internal Void was inspired by the feeling of emptiness that can overwhelm a person. The subject is a woman that is missing something in her life and she does not know what it is. Her eyes are out of focus to show the confusion within her own mind. There are distractions for example the gold and silver that prevents her from getting to the void.

The message is that true happiness and a complete being is one that can get past material things and fill the void with love and kindness.

The painting Mother Earth For Sale was inspired by the total disregard for the future of our people and the stability of our planet. The image is of Mother Earth being eviscerated by greed. She has been parted out and sold for her gold as shown on her arm on the left of the painting, and her other arm has been plowed into fields. There is lumber penetrating her body. She is lying on a leaking oil pipeline. One of her eyes is a skull and the other is an hourglass.

The message is protect the planet, our planet our home. Take a stand and say that our Mother Earth is not for sale anymore.

The painting Program Complete was inspired by the greed in Corporate America, and the willingness for people to sell themselves out to be a part of the deception The image is a man that has been brainwashed into doing whatever he is told to keep his job. The corporate machine has a gold switch that is always on. The mans eyes have been corrupted by visions of gold. The yellow skyline behind the machine is to show pollution. The green side of the painting is what we had before we sold out, and the blue is the blood of the worker drained from him as his life is drained by the corporate powers that be.

The message is not to sell yourself out and to keep your honor and fight for what you believe in no matter what the fanatical risk, Stand up and do the right thing.

The woman is shown with a shocked expression on her face, there is a blue and white object blowing behind her to show the forces of the winds. Her red hair is blowing in the wind against the white and blue object symbolizing national pride.
